I have two unwavering passions in life - horses and teaching.
I learned a lot of what not to do from people and so much of what I should do from horses.
When I was growing up and throughout my adolescence, I wasn’t surrounded by “good” teachers, in fact it was quite the opposite. Later, I encountered the same pursuing horsemanship. But over time, I was lucky enough to cross paths with a few phenomenal teachers that lead by example and taught with passion and awareness. This showed me what the effect of a truely great teacher could be.
Since the horse has freely taught me so much, I figure to be more horse-like, I should freely teach others with nothing in mind but to help.
